EBERHARD GÖBEL USA LP warrants that this umbrella will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase (the "Warranty Period").  If, during the Warranty Period, this umbrella proves to be defective during normal use, GÖBEL will remedy the defect by wither repairing or replacing the umbrella or any of its defective parts, at GÖBEL's option.

If you need warranty service, you must, prior to the lapse of the Warranty Period, file a warranty claim by returning the umbrella to GÖBEL, postage prepaid, at any of our service centers, together with proof of purchase, confirmation from you that you are the original purchaser of the umbrella, and a check or money order made payable to EBERHARD GÖBEL USA LP in the amount of $7.00 to cover return postage and handling.  After a warranty claim is properly filed, GÖBEL will designate a representative to evaluate the warranty claim.  This warranty is conditioned upon you reasonably cooperating with GÖBEL in the evaluation of your warranty claim and the implementation of the remedy to the claim.  When supplying replacement umbrellas or parts under this warranty, GÖBEL reserves the right to substitute an umbrella or parts of comparable value and design for any discontinued designs or to substitute a refurbished or reconditioned umbrella of refurbished or reconditioned parts thereof.  This warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original consumer purchaser.

GÖBEL does not assume any responsibility for failures, breakages or causes which result from abuse, misuse, negligence, accident, improper use or other causes beyond GÖBEL's reasonable control or failure to leave the umbrella open to dry thoroughly.  This warranty does not cover the fabric, case or handle of the umbrella, and GÖBEL makes no warranties whatsoever, expressed or implied, with respect to these items.  GÖBEL EXCLUDES AND WILL NOT PAY ANY INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  By this, GÖBEL means that any loss, expense or damages other than the umbrella itself that may result from a defect in the umbrella.  Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD; PROVIDED, HOWEVER; THAT NOTHING IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL GIVE YOU ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES YOU SHOULD NOT OTHERWISE HAVE, EXTEND THE SAME BEYOND THEIR CUSTOMARY DURATION, OR MAKE GÖBEL LIABLE FOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT GÖBEL WOULD NOT BE LIABLE FOR IF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY HAD NOT BEEN GIVEN.  Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

This warranty shall apply only to umbrellas purchased within the United States.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.  For purchases outside the United States, local laws may apply.

REFUND POLICY

All products are returnable to EBERHARD GÖBEL USA at the above address within 30 days of the original purchase date for full refund of the purchase price minus shipping and handling, with return shipment costs being the sole responsibility of the customer, and if goods are able to be resold.  Unwrapped goods that are able to be resold and that are received during the covered refund period by EBERHARD GÖBEL USA are subject to a 25% of the purchase price restocking fee. Goods must be received by EBERHARD GÖBEL USA within 35 days after the purchase date.  After the 30 day period from the purchase price date, customers will only receive merchandise credit or an equivalent dollar exchange for product.  If an umbrella is damaged, please see our warranty coverage above for instructions on how to make a warranty claim.
