 A multi-ton Caterpillar was used to prove the birdiepal can stand up to the rigors of extreme weight and constant pressure. This weight and pressure is many times that of the average exerted by running over the birdiepal with a golf cart, for example. As you can see from the photos below, all the competitors' umbrellas bent and broke from the strain, while the birdiepal remained intact and fully-functional. In a more conventional testing procedure, the birdiepal was tested in a rolling drum that is used to test the ability of luggage to withstand the strenuous beating an airline can impose on it with conveyor belts and distribution systems. As you can see in the photos below, the birdiepal survived the test.
